Alberta Firearms Act to Oppose Feds’ Gun Confiscation Passes Third Reading

A bill introduced by the Alberta government to protect its lawful firearms owners from the federal government’s gun confiscation program has passed third reading.

In a 28–7 vote on March 22, Bill 8, the Alberta Firearms Act, passed third reading on division, with seven NDP MLAs voting against it.

In a speech prior to the vote, Brad Rutherford, government whip said Bill 8 puts the interest of law-abiding firearms owners first.

“It accomplishes three main goals: one, it supports the firearms community in the face of Ottawa’s attacks on lawful firearm owners; it reduces confusion and increases accountability regarding the Chief Firearms Officer’s role; and three, it creates tools that enable Alberta to protect its jurisdiction over firearms,” he said at the assembly.

The Alberta Firearms Act was introduced by Justice Minister Tyler Shandro on March 7 in response to Ottawa’s plan to confiscate certain types of guns that it regarded as “assault-style” weapons, including AR-15s.

In May 2020, the Liberal government issued a ban on over 1,500 models of previously legal firearms. Last October, it put a freeze on the purchase, sale, transfer, and import of handguns, which effectively bans handgun ownership in the country.

Then in November 2022, the minority government tabled sweeping last-minute amendments to Bill C-21, which was being debated by the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security before the session ended for the holidays. If passed, the federal bill will ban most semi-automatic shotguns and rifles—including many ordinary hunting shotguns and rifles purchased legally. The proposed amendments would also ban any gun that can hold a detachable magazine.

‘Criminalizing Thousands of Canadians’

The federal government had originally planned to start its firearms buyback program on Prince Edward Island, according to a memo issued late last December. However, the pilot project was quickly cancelled, as first reported by Maritimes media group Saltwire Network on Jan. 12 and commented on by Shandro

“Just two days after [Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino’s] plans to use PEI as a training ground for their firearms confiscation program were exposed – the federal Liberals have already backed down,” Shandro tweeted on Jan. 12.

“Now its time to push the feds to back down from going after all Canadian firearms owners.”

It was on Dec. 29, 2022, that Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) released the memo proposing to begin in the country’s smallest province the “transition” of how firearms will be confiscated from gun owners.

“Prince Edward Island (PE) will be used as a pilot and will be the first point of collection based on the smaller number of firearms,” said the memo. “As a result, lessons learned, gaps analysis and risk assessment would inform the phase 2 national roll-out.”

The memo said phase 2 is planned for spring 2023 once an information technology case management system is in place.

“It will be implemented in collaboration with other government departments, provincial, municipal and territorial governments and potential Industry partners,” PSPC staff wrote.

At a March 15 media roundtable, Shandro criticized the Liberals’ confiscation program for potentially “criminalizing thousands of Canadians.”

“If they are going to have a confiscation program, we have to ensure the province is involved in licensing and we will be advocating for sensible legislative changes rather than ones, like C21 and order of council, that are targeting law-abiding Canadians and criminalizing thousands of Canadians over night for being in possession of legally acquired property,” he said.

According to Alberta’s government, the province has over 340,000 licensed firearm owners, and over 650 firearms-related businesses.

‘Patently False’

Shandro said the federal government doesn’t know whom it will use for the confiscation program—municipal employees, RCMP, police forces or a private contractor.

The province, however, is aware that some municipalities want to enter into an agreement with the feds and receive funding to have municipal employees be involved in the program.“We do not want police resources taken off the streets and being wasted and distracted by being involved with the confiscation program,” said Shandro. “If a municipality is going to have municipal employees involved, they are going to have to work with us.”

The province’s official site said Bill 8, if gained royal assent, will give Alberta “more tools” to protect areas of provincial jurisdiction over firearms, including “limiting municipalities and municipal police services from entering into firearms-related funding agreements with the federal government.”

Rutherford said suggestions that the act is unnecessary or creates a less safe environment for Albertans are “patently false.”

On Oct. 2, 2022, Mendicino accused Shandro of “insinuating that the RCMP will not be enforcing federal law” and that his resistance to the gun confiscation program was “reckless” and amounting to a “political stunt.”

In a March 7 video posted on Twitter, Shandro said the Liberals’ gun confiscation program won’t work.

“None of these federal policies will make our communities safer,” he said. “They are targeting law-abiding, responsible Canadians.

To date, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and New Brunswick have joined forces to oppose  using “scarce RCMP and municipal police resources to confiscate more than 100,000 legally acquired firearms from Canadians.”

The Yukon legislature also passed a motion against diverting territorial policing resources to assist in the Liberals’ plan.

Vote Debra McKelvie for Quesnel City Council!

History really does repeat itself and seeing my long time friend and associate Debra McKelvie back in the running for Quesnel City Council in 2022 makes my heart soar like a hawk.

I still recall vividly interviewed Debra in my former newspaper The Radical back in 1999 when she first set out on the political highway. It was Quesnel Civic Election ’99 and Debra’s aspirations for her home city remain as true today as they did 23 years ago. Her slogan at the time was “There are no small issues and all the people deserve to be heard.”

“There are no small issues and

all the people deserve to be heard.”

– Debra McKelvie

Back in 2020 when mayor Bob Simpson and the bulk of Quesnel’s city councillors (with the exception of Ron Paull) decided, in their infinite ignorance and arrogance, to relocate the giant Quesnel Gold Pan City sign from its original location at the intersection of Hwy 97 and the Barkerville Hwy (#26) it was Debra McKelvie who took the pro-active approach of organizing a protest rally at the site where the sign was removed in the night.

It was at that rally where then Councillor Ron Paull spoke out about the issue and afterwards was severely attacked by mayor Bob Simpson (a subject I will be covering in another upcoming article).

Today’s campaigning largely takes place on Social Media and it’s there on that digital soapbox that I found Debra’s pre-Thanksgiving FB platform which I present to readers today.

Debra McKelvie’s pre-Thanksgiving FB Platform

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, my heart is heavy yet hopeful.

Woke up this morning grateful that I did but also with an uneasy feeling in my gut on the state of our community. So much work to do…so much. (Granted, we have much to be thankful for and Quesnel has the kind of community spirit, commitment and determination that can and will overcome our troubles. It’s not all gloom and doom.)

Wanting a seat on Quesnel City Council brings with it one hell of a rollercoaster ride. Most of my adult life has been spent raising a family, working and playing here. I’ve lived through all of the local governments and their decisions whether negative or positive and how those decisions have affected “we the people”.

Not ever in our local history have we witnessed the kind of transition that has been quite frankly, insulting over the last 8 years. It’s as though every Council that came before 2014 knew absolutely nothing about strong leadership and how to manage a vibrant City. Modernization does not necessarily mean replacing, eradicating or destroying everything that was before.

Change with progress is inevitable. Promoting the growth of our community and having the people embrace that growth is a delicate balance that requires infinite finesse. Leaders require a strong understanding and respect for the people who remain, who relocate and for ALL those who pioneered the heritage and history of this City.

The ability to put egos and agendas aside when our electorate oppose our leadership decisions are qualities currently lacking. Are we having enough fun yet? How much fun can we afford? Society has become so politically correct and easily offended that common sense has become unfashionable and left the building. Revisiting and correcting the odd bad decision shows strength and promotes confidence within the whole community. We have two ears and one mouth for a reason.

Quesnel boasts 8 tent cities. The most visual and problematic being the tent city beside the river walk on Front Street. Tent cities have morphed in our communities because we as a collective society at all levels have allowed it. Blame can be shared locally and with our provincial and federal governments.

Where are Environment Health Services? (Not operational due to staff shortages apparently.) I see that Conservation was down there last weekend with a trap as the accumulating garbage stench is attracting the bears. Our bylaws are not being enforced and who can blame them? These officers are not trained to cope or deal with these issues that could escalate into violence and bodily harm. The building codes are not being enforced. Our frustrated RCMP are watching and standing down. The justice system and the courts are enabling the opiate/mental health crime issue with their bleeding heart policies and revolving door justice.

We all ignore it because we don’t know how to fix it and we are terrified this might creep into our own our back yard and neighborhoods.

People certainly deserve creative control over their lives but there must be accountability for all of us, no matter what our circumstances. Embracing and implementing new methods, models and ideas is threatening to communities where there isn’t nearly enough funding, outreach and give a damns to begin with.

Twenty years of “harm reduction” should tell us that it is NOT working and causing more harm than reduction. All we need to do is recall Quesnel 5 years ago.

Bring the warriors to the table who work in the trenches for viable solutions. Those of us who have been there and can offer the proven viable solutions. Ivory tower bureaucrats know little about the realities of trauma, PTSD, and the suffering that can cause addiction and homelessness. And even less on how to resolve it or where the money needs to go.

Resources is the bottom line. How do we attain and apply the money within a new model to our homeless, mentally ill and addicted population? We lobby. We reinvent the wheel. We work with our MLA, our CRD directors our MP. We go places we have been afraid to go. We start admitting that the old model is clunking along like the broken machine it is. We begin taking responsibility for ourselves and our communities at the local level.

This is the most important election in our history to date. Think carefully how you cast your votes. Examine the behaviour of incumbents who were silent and went along with the status quo to avoid humiliation and the wrath of “innovative leadership”.

In closing I want to extend a sincere wish to you and your families to enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving. Huge love to all of Quesnel angels and organizations who work tirelessly to provide for our marginalized community.

FINAL WARNING TO THE WEST

FINAL WARNING TO THE WEST

By
Arthur Topham
March 6th, 2022

“Very soon, only too soon, your country will stand in need of not just exceptional men but of great men. Find them in your souls. Find them in your hears. Find them in the depths of your country.”

– Alexandr Solzhenitsyn, Speech to U.S. Senate, July, 1975

In 1974 the famed Russian dissident, author of The Gulag Archipelago and Nobel Prize winner for Literature, Alexandr Solzhenitsyn, was finally expelled from the Soviet Union. Eventually he made his way to the United States of America and during the summer months of 1975 he travelled across the nation giving three memorable speeches; two of them to the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations) and the last, on July 15th, to the United States Congress. Following his speaking tour Solzhenitsyn published his speeches in a small book which he titled “Warning to the West” in the same year.

His first speech on June 30th, 1975 was given in Washington, D.C. The occasion was a dinner given in his honour by the AFL-CIO. The host of the event was then President of the union George Meany.

In his introduction Meany had some farsighted words to say about Mr. Solzhenitsyn much of which I will quote below. He also had what I consider rather prescient and prophetic things to say about the state of the world given that it was forty-seven years ago since the speech was first recorded. Referring to Solzhenitsyn Meany stated:

“When we think of the historic struggles and conflicts of this century, we naturally think of famous leaders: men who governed nations, commanded armies, and inspired movements in the defence of liberty, or in the service of ideologies which have obliterated liberty.

Yet today, in this grave hour in human history, when the forces arrayed against the free spirit of man are more powerful, more brutal, and more lethal than ever before, the single figure who has raised highest the flame of liberty heads no state, commands no army, and leads no movement that our eyes can see.

But there is a movement – a hidden movement of human beings who have no offices and headquarters, who are not represented in the great halls where nations meet, who every day risk or suffer more for the right to speak, to think, and to be themselves than any of us here are likely to risk in our entire lifetime.

Where are the members of this invisible movement? As we prepare tonight to honour the presence of one of them among us, let us give some thought to the rest: to the millions who are trapped in Soviet slave-labour camps; to the countless thousands drugged and strait-jacketed in so-called insane asylums; to the multitudes of voiceless workers who slave in the factories of the commissars; to all those who strain for bits and pieces of truth through the jammed frequencies of forbidden broadcasts, and who record and pass outlawed thoughts from hand to hand in the shadows of tyranny.

. . . No man in modern times and very few in all of history have demonstrated as Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn the power of the pen coupled with the courage to free men’s minds.

We need that power desperately today. We need it to teach the new and the forgetful generations in our midst what it means not to be free. Freedom is not an abstraction; neither is the absence of freedom. Solzhenitsyn has helped us to see that, thanks to his art and his courage.

We need echoes of his voice. We need to hear the echoes in the White House. We need to hear the echoes in the Congress and in the State Department and in the universities and in the media . . . .”

Alexandr Solzhenitsyn’s speech to the members of the AFL-CIO was long, direct and forceful and it presented to the audience a picture of what life under a communist totalitarian dictatorship is truly like. In doing so he also outlined the role that America’s corporate elite played in promoting for profit such a system of governance; one built upon brute force and cold-hearted, calculated enmity toward all who stood, or potentially stood, in the way of the party’s ideological agenda for absolute control of every aspect of human endeavour. And in doing so he also called out previous American administrations like that of former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1933 to 1945) who were always eager and willing to recognize, legitimate and support Stalin’s communist, totalitarian state.

Linking his talk with the working class in the states and the abhorrent conditions under which the people of the Soviet Union were forced to endure Solzhenitsyn illustrated again and again the milieu under which millions of Christian people were living (if one could even describe their plight with such a descriptive adjective) or surviving. He described how the communist system worked and how its atheistic ideology, as expressed through the Bolshevik regime, exhibited no redeeming characteristics; that the basis of its political agenda consisted of nothing more than violence and that it could only be through firmness in the face of such a regime that one might counter this cold, calculating force – not, as American had been doing through the years, by constantly making concessions to communism. Cutting to the chase he delineated the truth about the communist system in the following manner:

“This was a system which which deceived the workers in all of its decrees – the decree on land, the decree on peace, the decree on factories, the decree on freedom of the press.

This was a system which exterminated all other parties. And let me make it clear to you that it not only disbanded each party, but destroyed its members. All members of every non-Communist party were exterminated.

This was a system which carried out genocide of the peasantry. Fifteen million peasants were shipped off to their deaths.

This was a system which introduced serfdom, the so-called passport system.

This was a system which, in time of peace, artificially created a famine, causing six million persons to die in the Ukraine between 1932 and 1933. They died on the very threshold of Europe. And Europe didn’t even notice it. The world didn’t even notice it. Six million persons!

I could continue this enumeration, but I must stop because I have come to the year 1933 when, after all the facts I have named, your President Roosevelt and your Congress decided that this system was worthy of diplomatic recognition, of friendship, and of assistance.”

At one point in his speech Solzhenitsyn encapsulated all he had told his audience:

“Finally, to evaluate everything that I have said to you, we need not remain on the level of practical calculations. Why did such and such a country act in such and such a way? What were they counting on? Instead, we should rise above this to the moral level and say: “In 1933 and in 1941 your leaders and the whole Western world made an unprincipled deal with totalitarianism.” We will have to pay for this; someday it will come back to haunt us. For thirty years we have been paying for it. And we’re going to pay for it in an even worse way in the future.

One cannot think only on the low level of political calculations. It is also necessary to think of what is noble, and what is honourable – not just of what is profitable. Resourceful Western legal scholars have now introduced the term “legal realism,” which they can use to obscure any moral evaluation of affairs. They say, “Recognize realities: if certain laws have been established in countries ruled by violence, these laws still must be recognized and respected.”

At the present time it is widely accepted among lawyers that law is higher than morality – law is something which is shaped and developed, whereas morality is something inchoate and amorphous. This is not the case. The opposite is true: morality is higher than law! Law is our human attempt to embody in rules a part of that moral sphere which is above us. We try to understand this morality, bring it down to earth, and present it in the form of law. Sometimes we are more successful, sometimes less. Sometimes we have a mere caricature of morality, but morality is always higher than law. This view must never be abandoned. We must acknowledge it with our hearts and souls.

In the twentieth century it is almost a joke in the Western world to use words like “good” and “evil.” They have become old-fashioned concepts, yet they are very real and genuine. These are concepts from a sphere which is above us. And instead of getting involved in base, petty, shortsighted political calculations and games we must recognize that a concentration of evil and a tremendous force of hatred is spreading throughout the world. We must stand up against it and not hasten to give, give, give, everything that it wants to swallow.”

. . . . . . .

In Solzhenitsyn’s second speech to the AFL-CIO in New York City on July 9th, 1975, the union’s secretary-treasurer, Lane Kirkland, introduced him in part with the following words:

“His [Solzhenitsyn’s. A.T.] work is not devoted to the advancement of any political doctrine or fashion in political discourse or any passing notion of expediency – but to the most elemental values of human dignity, human justice, and human freedom.”

Solzhenitsyn commenced his speech with the following opening remarks:

“Is it possible or impossible to transmit the experience of those who have suffered to those who have yet to suffer? Can one part of humanity learn from the bitter experience of another or can it not? Is it possible or impossible to warn someone of danger?”

He then went on to speak about Communism itself and how it is so astonishing that its adherents have been openly talking about it for the past 125 years (now 170+ years. A.T.) and that everyone’s heard about The Communist Manifesto yet no one seems to have read it or knows what it really is all about.

“I think it is not only a question of the disguises that Communism has assumed in the last decades. It is rather that the essence of Communism is quite beyond the limits of human understanding. It is hard to believe that people could actually plan such things and carry them out. And it is precisely because its essence is beyond comprehension, perhaps, that Communism is so difficult to understand.”

Further into his talk he gets a bit more explicit in his description of this peculiar ideology:

“Communism is as crude an attempt to explain society and the individual as if a surgeon were to perform his delicate operations with a meat axe. All that is subtle in human psychology and in the structure of society (which is even more complex), all of this is reduced to crude economic processes. This whole created being – man – is reduced to matter. It is characteristic that Communism is so devoid of arguments that it has none to advance against its opponents in our Communist countries. It lacks arguments and hence there is the club, the prison, the concentration camp, and insane asylums with forced confinement [and, as Solzhenitsyn states in another part of his speech, forced injections that are administered daily until the brain eventually rots away. A.T.].

“…Communism has never concealed the fact that it rejects all absolute concepts of morality. It scoffs at any consideration of “good” and “evil” as indisputable categories. Communism considers morality to be relative, to be a class matter. Depending upon circumstances and the political situation, any act, including murder, even the killing of hundreds of thousands, could be good or could be bad. It all depends upon class ideology. And who defines this ideology? The whole class cannot get together to pass judgment. A handful of people determine what is good and what is bad [the World Economic Forum comes to mind. A.T.]. But I must say that in this very respect Communism has been most successful. It has infected the whole world with the belief in the relativity of good and evil. Today, many people apart from the Communists are carried away by this idea. Among progressive people, it is considered rather awkward to use seriously such words as “good” and “evil.” Communism has managed to persuade all of us that these concepts are old-fashioned and laughable. But if we are to be deprived of the concepts of good and evil, what will be left? Nothing but the manipulation of one another. We will sink to the status of animals.

Both the theory and the practice of Communism are completely inhuman for that reason…That which is against Communism is for humanity. Not to accept, but to reject this inhuman Communist ideology is simply to be a human being. Such a rejection is more than a political act. It is a protest of our souls against those who would have us forget the concepts of good and evil. ”

Further yet down the path toward Communism Solzhenitsyn explains:

“The most frightening aspect of the world Communist system is its unity, its cohesion. . . All the apparent differences among the Communist Parties of the world are imaginary. All are united on one point: your social order must be destroyed.”

[Hmmm, isn’t that what we’re seeing today as we witness the lockstep actions and reactions of governments throughout the West ever since the decision was made to fabricate the Covid-19 ‘epidemic’ and have it imposed upon nation after nation without their consent? A.T.]

. . . . . . .

Alexandr Solzhenitsyn’s final speech in America in 1975 took place in Washington, D.C. when he talked to members of the Senate and the House of Representatives. That speech was, by comparison to his other two, succinct, direct and, as seen now from the perspective of an additional 47 years of time, both precocious and prophetic.

First off he thanked the US Senate for having declared him to be an honorary citizen of the United States. Then he conveyed to them the heavy weight of responsibility that he was carrying on his shoulders as he traversed the country attempting to explain to the American citizenry what the conditions were like in the Soviet Union and those eastern block nations still under Soviet domination. At one point he told his audience, “In virtually every respect, our Russian historical experience has been almost the opposite of yours” and that “in my few addresses in your country I have attempted to break through that wall of disastrous unawareness or nonchalant superiority” that he sensed.

Returning to one of his former themes he again touched on the possible futility of trying to convey to others the depth of despair and hopelessness that arises in a nation when it has lost all its personal freedoms. He said, “Alas, such is human nature that we never feel the sufferings of others, and they never darken our temporary well-being, until they become our own. I am not certain that in my addresses here I have succeeded in conveying the breadth of that terrible reality to a complacently prosperous American society. But I have done what I could and what I consider my duty. So much the worse if the justice of my warnings become evident only some years hence.”

Speaking of the Vietnam war and its effect upon America in dividing the nation Solzhenitsyn remarked, “I can say with certainty that this ordeal was the least of a long chain of similar trials which awaits you in the near future.”

In closing his brief speech he told the Senate and the House:

“I would like to convey to you how we, the subjects of Communist states, look upon your words, deeds, proposals, and enactments, which are made known to the world through the media. We sometimes greet them with passionate approval, at other times with horror and despair. But we never have a chance to respond aloud.

Perhaps some of you, in your minds, still consider yourselves to represent only your state or party. But, from over there, from afar, we do not perceive these differences. We do not look up you as Democrats or Republicans, or as representatives of the Eastern Seaboard or the West Coast or the Midwest; we see you as statesmen, each of whom will play a direct and decisive role in the future course of world history, as it proceeds toward tragedy or salvation.

In the oncoming conjunction of a world political crisis with the present changes in a humanity exhausted and choked by a false hierarchy of values, you and your successors on Capital Hill will have to confront – you are already facing – problems of overwhelming difficulty, incomparably greater than the short-term calculations of diplomacy, inter-party struggles, or of the clash between President and Congress. There is but one choice: to rise to the task of the age.

Very soon, only too soon, your country will stand in need of not just exceptional men but of great men. Find them in your souls. Find them in your hears. Find them in the depths of your country.”

. . . . . . .

Within the Context of Present Day Russia and Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulating Alexandr Solzhenitsyn upon his return to Russia in 1994

My point, in referencing all the above information which Alexandr Solzhenitsyn conveyed to American during the summer of 1975, is to illustrate the fact that what he warned the West of, i.e. the impending and greater infiltration and capture of all western governments by the persistent, relentless actions of the communist ideologues has now turned out to be an unquestionable reality in 2022.

For those who have done their due diligence over the past half century and longer in researching and studying the workings of western governments since the 1930’s this reality comes as no surprise. Neither does the fact that it was able to be manifested on such a global scale and that too was only due to the power of the perpetrators who own and control all the mechanisms of mass communication and who, at the same time, own and control (through multiple methods) all the politicians, bureaucracies and judicial systems throughout the western nations.

Having steadily and persistently programmed their captive audiences since the end of WW2 into believing their false narratives and also having the financial clout to influence all levels of the education systems throughout the west, the Bolshevik communist mindset that Solzhenitsyn describes so well in his speeches and, more importantly, in his books (especially The Gulag Archipelago series) has now, in both a figurative and literal sense, accomplished what Lenin and Stalin and their gang of Bolshevik commissars had envisioned back in 1917 – a World Revolution wherein all other democratic forms of governance and freedom of the individual would be abolished and an elite cartel of like-minded miscreants and atheistic, psychopathic deviants and pedophiles would lay final claim to the planet and all its resources.

Thus far, since the year 2020, the world has not only witnessed but bore the brunt of these unilateral decisions made under the secretive and shadowy auspices of the Tyranny that now IS. The names and the companies and the motives and the madness of these entities from Hades are everywhere present, both on the world wide web and throughout all the other media. The future that Alexandr Solzhenitsyn was able to envisage while he watched and lived through his own personal gulag during the years of Soviet Bolshevik communist rule and which he laboured with the intensity of a Titan to convey to the world has now come to pass.

Those who know this and those who are beginning to awaken to such a knowing are the ones upon whom this grave realization has now devolved and it is this community of like-minded individuals (now everywhere present throughout the West and beyond) who must pick up and bear the torch of universal freedom and human rights that Solzhenitsyn carried to the West 47 years ago. They, and no one else, are the only hope left in the world and as Solzhenitsyn told us never to forget, “morality is higher than law.” We have that duty to be guided by the Spiritual realization that man-made laws do not supersede God’s laws and by following our hearts and minds instead of edicts forced upon us we will eventually overcome the clear and present EVIL that now besets the human family and the planet upon which we depend for our survival.

Freedom Convoy Protesters About To Get Arrested En Masse

Freedom Convoy Protesters About To Get Arrested En Masse

by Tyler Durden
Thursday, Feb 17, 2022

“You must leave the area now,” reads the notice. “Anyone blocking streets, or assisting others in the blocking [of] streets, are committing a criminal offence and you may be arrested,” according to the Wall Street Journal.

The notice is an escalation of law-enforcement efforts as the protest against vaccine mandates and social restrictions enters its 20th day. The move comes after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked emergency powers this week aimed at ending the demonstrations.

Ottawa police, in its notice, said that with the new powers made available under the federal emergency order, it is now illegal for new protesters or their supporters to enter downtown Ottawa and join the demonstration. Police also said drivers’ licenses could be revoked, per a separate emergency order from the province of Ontario. -WSJ

Earlier in the day we noted that 13 demonstrators involved in an ‘Coutts blockade’ were arrested, however today’s order is officially warning of mass arrests.

“I think this caught everyone off guard last night when it was released,” said Purpose Investments Inc. CIO Greg Taylor on Bloomberg TV. “There’s a lot of questions right now in figuring out who we’re targeting, what do we have to look at.”

[Editor’s Note: The following article by Ethan Huff of Uncanceled News should tell most folks with functioning brain that those who’ve orchestrated this unprecedented attack upon the human family are, by all standards of normal behaviour, INSANE and need to be stopped as soon as possible. (Also note that due to legal restrictions imposed upon me by the Supreme Court of BC I cannot post any urls to the sites and citations that may appear in either of these articles).

One of the worse crazies on the planet at this moment of course is Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who has sold out his country to the NWO robber barons for the standard 30 pieces of silver and is hell-bent on fulfilling his commitment to Mephistophes whether Canadians like it or not.

Here is what Ethan Huff has to say today about all the triple “vaccinated” deaths that have skyrocketed 495% in January of 2022 and that 80% of all new covid cases have been fully jabbed.

“The plandemic of the “fully vaccinated” rages on as the latest data shows that the vast majority of hospitalizations and deaths from the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) are occurring in people who took the jabs.

Public Health Scotland (PHS) is reporting that an astounding four out of every five covid hospitalizations and deaths are jabbed, meaning only 20 percent of hospitalizations and deaths blamed on covid are occurring in the unvaccinated.

According to the figures, cases were down overall in February compared to January. However, the bulk is still comprised of fully vaccinated individuals, including the triple-vaccinated.

The data shows that the latest “wave” of negative health outcomes is occurring in three-pricked people, a demographic in which the death rate soared by 495 percent in the month of January.
“Overall cases have dropped in the last month in all demographics significantly compared to the number of cases recorded between 11th Dec and 7th Jan 22, but in both months the vaccinated have accounted for the vast majority of cases,” reported the Daily Exposé.

“The main difference between the two months is that the double vaccinated accounted for the majority of cases between 11th Dec and 8th Jan 22; recording 145,890 cases, but the triple vaccinated accounted for the majority of cases between 8th Jan and 4th Feb 22; recording 46,951 cases.”

The plandemic would already be over were it not for the “vaccines”

It turns out that the case rate is dropping substantially among the unvaccinated while it continues to rise among the fully vaccinated, and especially among the fully-fully vaccinated who are getting three shots or more.

Between December 11 and January 7, the non-jabbed population accounted for just 15 percent of all new cases of the Fauci Flu. One month later from January 8 through February 4, that percentage dropped to less than 13 percent.

Meanwhile, the vaccinated population accounted for 85 percent of all new cases between December 11 and January 7, with just 9 percent of those cases occurring in the one-dose vaccinated. (Related: Cases of covid among the fully vaccinated in Taiwan are also way, way up.)

Thirty-two percent of all new cases in the vaccinated category occurred in the triple vaccinated while 59 percent occurred in the double vaccinated.

“But fast forward one month and we find that the vaccinated accounted for 87% of cases, with the one-dose vaccinated accounting for 4% of those cases, the double vaccinated accounting for 33% of those cases, and the triple vaccinated accounting for 63% of those cases,” the Exposé further reported.

“This means that despite cases falling among all demographics they actually fell the most among the not vaccinated, single vaccinated, and double vaccinated, with the lowest drop coming in the triple vaccinated. This doesn’t make sense if the Covid-19 vaccines are effective. Clearly they are not, at least when it comes to preventing infection.”

As for hospitalizations, the unvaccinated are doing better and better overall while the fully vaccinated are doing worse and worse overall.

The PHS data shows that hospitalizations among the unvaccinated fell by -24 percent in January compared to in December. Hospitalizations among the triple vaccinated, meanwhile, increased by an astounding 88 percent.

“The vaccinated population accounted for 75% of hospitalisations between 11th Dec and 7th Jan 22, with 7% of those hospitalisations among the one-dose vaccinated, 46% of those hospitalisations among the triple vaccinated, and 47% of those hospitalisations among the double vaccinated,” the Exposé further reported.

“But fast forward one month and we find that the vaccinated accounted for 80.5% of hospitalisations, with the one-dose vaccinated accounting for 6% of those hospitalisations, the double vaccinated accounting for 26% of those hospitalisations, and the triple vaccinated accounting for 68% of those hospitalisations.””

Just say no to freedom

What we are having trouble understanding is that our future has already been stolen, and we are having trouble adjusting to it.

Whether we are free human beings or merely slaves to tyrants is a question that has already been answered, at least in the minds of those who control us.

The question for the ages — will we be free or prisoners of mind control devices that prevent our freedom? — has already been answered, long ago. You won’t like the answer, but if you did, there would no longer be a reason to aspire to any kind of consciousness at all.

This is the condition most people would find themselves in if they had any remaining desire to really see what they had become. It is a question most people no longer have the desire to ask.

The message from your government, at any time in any place, is: “Sit down and shut up.” Most people actually like that idea, because they can’t figure out what to do on their own.

Probably the biggest lie you’ve ever been told is that the people watching over you want to give you “liberty and justice for all.” Never happened, never will. All justice is contained in the rules that allow the rich to steal from the poor.

If you maintain any pretensions that you wish to determine your own destiny, you’d better get over it. Ever since the Prussians invented compulsory schooling, there was never any chance that would ever happen.

It was the way it had to be to keep people from killing each other, the experts thought. And it has not worked.

The contract you signed

The way they have it planned, only the worst people will survive. The Earth will become such an ugly place if they are allowed to get their way, kill off everybody they don’t like, and make homicidal viciousness the hallmark of the human species.

You say that’s the way it is already, and we’d be hard pressed to deny it. How is it that so many innocent people have been murdered by people who are always saying they are only trying to stay alive? We must bomb them before they bomb us.

This is the rule that has always governed all societies.

Shall we let them steal our future, or shall we give them what they deserve for attempting such an atrocious crime?

And if we attempt to stop them, what would be an appropriate penalty be for our leaders, our doctors and our teachers who have all participated in a crime more heinous than has ever been attempted in human history?

Or should we, in our cowardly passivity, simply let them do what they want, allow them to deliberately murder most of the planet’s human population with their lethal injections.

Put those masks on your children, and let them grow up as the agoraphobic mole people they were meant to be. Make them just like the governments want, incurably suspicious of everyone not relevant to their own immediate needs.

Just like we have now.

Our fate is skidding on glare ice

The fate of humanity now hangs in the balance on a frozen road in Canada. What happened to the country that promised us life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

Why have those been taken away from us by lies? And what shall we do to the criminals who have stolen our future?

We have reached a fateful crossroads in history. Will we determine our own future as fully functional human beings or have we been reduced to powerless slaves of billionaires who now can tell us what we can or cannot do?

No matter where we now live or what work we can do, we can all say the same thing — our government has become our enemy.

There is no longer any functional redress of abuse by authorities who seek to destroy our humanity by technological techniques for control, and inflicted them on us under false pretenses by creating a disease in a lab in order to get us to give up our freedom.

Which we have done.

And the real situation is so much worse than that.

They have foisted upon a false pandemic for which they have ordered us take a poison medicine that at this late date has killed millions and permanently injured several million more with an experimental vaccine that was never properly tested and yet required to accept with the penalty of refusal being losing everything we have worked for in our lives.

You can see their empty eyes as they walk aimlessly about near the soiled tents they have pitched on the filthy streets of Los Angeles. If you have any future at all, this is it.

It ain’t coming back

Without justification and without the permission of the people they pretend to govern, governments have eliminated our freedom and now dictate what we can and cannot do. Yet now they have devolved into something far worse, descending to their lowest possible depth, demanding all the forces they control to kill us in the name of species health.

In doing so, they reveal the evil entity they have always been, and revealed the need for permanent systemic changes if we are to remain the trustworthy and functional citizens we have previously tried to be.

To succumb to dishonorable government mandates is to admit we are powerless in the face of tyranny. Could any government be more lethal — more inimical to human freedom — than one headed by a senile moron robotically issuing the orders of his invisible controllers than we have now?

Our government has never worked for the people, it works for the rich so-called businessmen who are really manipulative monopolistic shysters; they are the tyrannical tycoons who control the money supply, who pull the strings and get the smooth talking demagogues to utter the actual words enforcing our enslavement.

The world’s richest families control the world’s biggest businesses, and these individuals now have usurped the power to control what anyone can say to anyone else at any time for any reason. They own the networks, the legislatures, the tax collectors, the schools and the entertainers, who all combine to tell us what we can and what we can’t, for the ultimate benefit not of the people, but for the psychos who control the people . . .

or so they think . . .

The life threatening fact before us is that we have lost control of our freedom. That’s the same as saying we have lost our freedom, which is our most precious possession. Those who control our lives think there is nothing we can do about it.

They are wrong.

Reclaiming our freedom is a complex and daunting task. And yet we see it happening now, just beginning, as millions of people storm forth from their impoverished hideaways to say no to deliberately injurious mandates and to laws which bear no relation to freedom but only to the profits of the sadistic slavemasters, who have always ruled the world . . .

. . . to this point.

You are now on the cusp of a simple equation, of a question which you no longer have the option of not answering.

Will you wake up, or will you go back to sleep? You should know that if you go back to sleep this time, you will never wake up again.

QUESNEL–CARIBOO TRUCKERS CONVOY

[Editor’s Note: The current video was taken in Quesnel, B.C. on Saturday, January 29th, 2022. The truckers from Quesnel were lined up along 2 Mile Flat on the north end of town and the line-up stretched back to the turn-off on to the Old Prince George Hwy where the Coop is now located. The group had gathered there before starting. Because of the street lights in the city itself the line was broken up into small groups. The video was shot near the Quesnel River Bridge where Hwy 97 crosses the river and winds its way up the hill into South Quesnel. I erred in the video by stating the convoy was on its way to Williams Lake when in fact it was scheduled to only go as far as Kersley which is about 10 km south of the city limits. This explains why there are short periods between the convoy where there’s no horns blaring or flags flying. Please feel free to share the video with friends and associates.]

[Editor’s Note: Some years back, prior to my former website RadicalPress.com being removed from the internet in March of 2017, I had published a series of images taken from a book published by Ian Verner Macdonald a former Canadian Trade Commissioner who had served successfully in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and North America following his war service in the RCAF. Mr. Macdonald’s interest in world history inspired him to investigate and research the causes behind WW2 and in the process he put together a rather large collection of images that were used in Canada’s msm during WW2 for propaganda purposes. His book, published in 2009 was titled, “Star Weekly at War”. I became acquainted with Mr. Macdonald and communicated with him via email for a number of years. The following visual images that will be presented to the reader in Part 2 of this 3-Part series are all taken from the Toronto Star Weekly and will illustrate how, during the war, the anti-German propaganda was presented to the Canadian public.

Following the visual presentation I’ve published excerpts from Mr. Macdonald’s Epilogue which will summarize and complete the 2nd part of this Series.

In Part 3 I shall present the other side of the picture that our Canadian forefathers and foremothers were never privileged to have witnessed and which might have given them cause to pause before venturing into a second world war.]

STAR WEEKLY AT WAR

Masks, mask, masks! No getting around them it seems.
Ah yes, let’s help them poor peasants in the Soviet Union. You know the one’s that Stalin didn’t cart off to the Gulag Archipelago by the millions from Ukraine and elsewhere to be worked to death in the concentration camps.
Looks so romantic eh as these Bolshevik Communists go riding into a wave of machine gun fire. Takes one back to WW1.
“We fight for freedom” Freedom for whom one might ask? Is Britain free today? Is Canada free today? Is China free today?
I include the following Front Page Covers where the “Japs” are on the receiving end of the propaganda. Strange isn’t it how we never see any references to the “Japs” in the National Post or any of the other corporate-controlled media in Canada these days.
A “Jap Trap”. What a nifty idea eh? Only in Canada you say? It should be noted that this particular image isn’t a part of the Star Weekly collection.
Let’s not forget good old British Columbia and the Vancouver Harbour with the plane cruising over famous Lion’s Gate Bridge.

EPILOGUE

~ from “Star Weekly at War”

By

Ian Verner Macdonald

“…As an active combatant, Canada was seen by all men of goodwill as making a significant contribution to the defence of Western Christian civilization. Conforming with the English-language media world wide, the Star accepted without question the thesis that Hitler and the Nazis had to be stopped lest ‘we all end up in concentration camps’ or worse, under the heel of a ferocious dictator and his sinister Gestapo. Such was the temper of the times.

There was no hint in the Star Weekly that there could be a much more menacing evil afoot, even though some coverage was given to the Soviet invasion of Finland and the Nazi-Soviet pact that expanded Stalin’s bloodthirsty rule into Poland and the Baltic countries where thousands died at the hands of anti-Christian Kommissars, many tortured to death and their families sent to Siberia in sealed box cars. Even less attention was paid to the devilish mischief wrought by the vengeful, punitive Treaty of Versailles. It was the festering resentment of the misery caused by the unfair terms of this treaty that set the stage for the emergence in the ’twenties of an inspiring populist Fuehrer, promising to restore German honour and dignity, and the German economy, by the retrieval of its conquered territories.

Once Canada was committed by Prime Minister Mackenzie King to enter the war against Germany on Britain’s side on September 9, 1939 (no doubt with mixed feelings since he had written an adulatory letter to Hitler shortly before suggesting that history would remember him as the “Statesman of the 20th Century” for  his accomplishments), the Star put the best face on the inevitable death and destruction, shielding readers from the disconcerting reality. Like most other media, the Star Weekly glamourized the war, helping to persuade hundreds of thousands of young men, including this writer, to lust for the opportunity to get into action, preferably in the RCAF even when, for a time, the chance of survival in Bomber Command was slim, at best.

…The Star Weekly has passed from the scene, as have most participants in the war it so vividly and optimistically portrayed, leaving survivors to wonder how a Good War and Total Victory could have brought such calamity and so tragically betrayed the trusting patriots who had dedicated, and often lost, their lives in rallying to the defence of Freedom.

It is now clear that the celebrated Allied Victory did not save Western Christian Civilization as promised, but precipitated its demise. There is even good reason to doubt that the case for making war was ever sufficiently plausible and compelling to justify the inevitable horrendous sacrifice, especially coming on the heels of the Great War (“to end all war”) that already had stripped both the Allied nations and Germany of many of their best and brightest, and, in most cases, of the victim’s priceless progeny.

…In retrospect, the Star Weekly, with the best of intentions and in tune with the times, appears to have accepted the Hollywood version of German intentions, and along with the entire country, acceded to the most monstrous contrived miscalculation in history, carried out against the best interests of the British Commonwealth and Western democracies. Britons and Canadians were led to believe that their German kinfolk, who held no animosity toward them, were the enemy who threatened their freedom when in fact the enemy was the atheistic Soviet regime whose bloodthirsty Kommissars had liquidated, by 1939, at least 20 million Christians and was intent on subjugating Europe at the earliest opportunity. Germany offered the sole effective defence against such a fearful prospect.

Germany, astutely and persistently but with increased frustration, sought peace with Britain in order to concentrate on eliminating the imminent Soviet threat but, on Churchill’s orders, the generous “peace with honour” proposals were rejected out of hand, sounding the death knell for tens of millions, including 45 thousand young Canadians. The same Churchill, when shortly after the destruction of Germany the Soviet threat quickly re-emerged, quipped flippantly to an Aide “It looks like we slaughtered the wrong pig!” Britain and Canada were soon in a military alliance with Germany, but it was a decade too late. The hostile Soviet Union had already enslaved Eastern and Central Europe and the Baltic countries. Poland, the country whose independence Britain had ostensibly gone to war for to defend from Hitler, was cynically delivered into the bloodstained clutches of a far more sinister and malevolent dictator.

Other newsworthy issues and anomalies even more studiously ignored by the Star Weekly were the identities of the sinister forces behind the inexplicable decision to declare war on on Germany alone when both Germany and the Soviet Union invaded Poland in September, 1939 (no less illogical than the subsequent refusal of the Churchill government to accept an honourable peace). The rationale for making war was not widely debated at the time, partly because of censorship and self-censorship by the media….

In the dangerous realignments of the immediate post-war era, the miscalculations of Allied “statesmen” became clear; the most calamitous being the designation of our Christian European ethnic and cultural German kin-folk as the “enemy.” In fact, Germany was our natural ally, just as the atheistic, genocidal anti-Christian Stalin dictatorship was our natural enemy. Making war on Germany ensured that Communism (and [edited for legal reasons. Ed.]) would triumph, and that Britain and European importance in world affairs would decline accordingly.

…Could there have been a more palatable outcome than the Pyrrhic victory? “What if Hitler had won?” – a rhetorical question asked usually to evoke shivers of horror among listeners. But if Germany had won, arguably the world would by now be in a much better and safer place. And the “what if” is not nearly as far-fetched as Allied propagandists would have us believe. Germany certainly would have won if Britain and France, and eventually America, had acted in their own obvious best interests and remained neutral or entered the war on Germany’s side….

Had Britain not been deceived and betrayed into war with Germany, with whom she had no authentic quarrel, there would have been no Second World War, tens of millions of lives would have been spared, priceless European architecture would not have been destroyed, Europe would have been united under German leadership, international communism would have become a footnote in history, trillions of dollars could have been used for the betterment of mankind, the environment could have been protected, the Cold War would have been forstalled, (along with the Korean and Vietnmese wars and communist sponsored revolutions elsewhere), negotiations for the resettlement of Six Million or more [edited for legal reasons. Ed.] to Uganda or Madagascar would have reached fruition, there would have been peace and justice in the Middle East, China would have evolved along Taiwanese lines under capitalism, sharing with Japan and the Colonial Powers influence over S.E. Asia, there would have been no UN meddling, no Third World turmoil, no “refugee” migrations, no deprivation of freedom in the name of “human rights,” no Affirmative Action, no asinine Political Correctness and, above all, no subversion and corruption of Western society and the democratic political process by a cunning, avaricious alien minority.

It does not speak well of Establishment historians and journalists that they refuse to address squarely what is probably the most crucial and perplexing enigma of our time, namely, the real purpose of WWII and why politicians, notably Churchill and Roosevelt, knowingly acted against their countries’ best interests. Honest, unbiased, patriotic scholars who have attempted to stimulate discussion of this intriguing issue have been viciously denounced as historical revisionists (or worse), and their findings have been viciously suppressed. [Editor’s note: this, I would add, has been my own fate with respect to the past 14 years of enforced litigation, arrests, jail, trials, home invasions, msm vilification, etc. and is still ongoing as I type these words.]

The Toronto Star Weekly did its wartime duty in boosting morale and enthusiasm for the seemingly worthy cause – the preservation of freedom and justice and protection from purportedly-looming world-wide dictatorship. Ironically, the fundamental freedoms, especially freedom of expression, have been steadily eroded throughout the world – not least in Canada – largely because of the war, and the dictatorship of the New World Order could well be at hand….”
