Never Before: An Open Letter to the Voters in the Portage-Lisgar, Manitoba By-election

Never Before: An Open Letter to the Voters
in the Portage-Lisgar, Manitoba By-election

Dear Portage-Lisgar Voters,

I write to you from British Columbia as a 76 year old Canadian-born citizen, father of 4 and grandfather to 8. My purpose in doing so is to try and convince you to vote for Maxime Bernier the Leader of the People’s Party of Canada in next Monday’s Portage-Lisgar by-election on June 19th, 2023.

I’ve been living in B.C since 1957 but was born into a farming family on the eastern border of Saskatchewan near Togo back in 1947 about 200 miles NW of Winkler so in that sense we were practically neighbours back then. 🙂

Over the course of my lifetime I’ve witnessed all the political/social/economic changes that have occurred in our now beleaguered country and to say the least, never before in the history of our nation since the BNA Act of 1867 has Canada had to face the imminent loss of its national sovereignty along with all the fundamental rights and freedoms it has fought so hard to gain in order to remain “Strong and Free”.

As conscientious and caring Canadians we who have been witnessing the events of the past half century and longer are well aware there is now an open, acknowledged conspiracy on the part of the world’s power brokers to extinguish the basic rights and freedoms of citizens everywhere; not only to extinguish but to exacerbate at the same time, unnatural and perverted acts which are presently destroying the lives of future generations and putting at risk the very original purpose of Providence itself.

Basically there are two versions of the present political narrative afoot: one broadcast to the world on a 24/7 basis via the legacy or mainstream media (msm) created, owned and controlled by the international globalist elites and the other via the world wide web through social media outlets such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other electronic formats. These two fundamental forms of communication compromise the yin and the yang of all our interactions amongst each other as human beings.

That said I want to get down to the nitty gritty of “Never Before” and see whether somewhere, amid the dark and sinister clouds that are quickly gathering over our nation, there might be found a ray of hope which holds promise of stemming the present tide of infamy, deception and censorship that’s now threatening our very existence not only as an independent country but even so far as a species upon Mother Earth.

A Trinity of Trouble

From a political perspective Canadian voters are facing a major conundrum in terms of differentiating fact from fiction when it comes to believing the words and actions of those “Leaders” of the legacy parties the Liberals, Conservatives, NDP and Greens. Together they comprise what’s been nicknamed “The Uniparty”. The rhetoric of all three is coming on fast and furious as we approach that fatal day when voters across the nation will have to decide who is who and who, upon gaining power, will address and remedy all the present crises that are becoming more openly grotesque and disquieting with each passing day. Allow me to present a short list of said grievances which “the people” are becoming increasingly alarmed by:

  • World Economic Forum (WEF) influence on Canadian Politicians
  • COVID-19 Scamdemic of 2000
  • Government Lockdowns
  • mRNA Vaccinations
  • Vaxed versus Unvaxed
  • Vaccine Passports
  • Forced lay offs of Unvaxed Nurses/Healthcare Workers
  • Sudden Death Occurrences related to said bio-weapons
  • Transgenderism & the 2SLGBTQI+ agenda
  • Stabbing & Killing by Transgendered
  • Transgendering Canada’s Military
  • Liberal/Trudeau/Conservative/Poilievre Promotion of Drag Queen camps
  • Grooming of little children by Transgendered
  • Mass Immigration
  • Far Left Wokism
  • Trudeau’s Attack on Legal Gun Owners
  • Liberal Censorship Law C-11
  • Liberal collusion with China
  • Inflation, Debt & Unfair Equalization
  • Liberal Climate Change agenda
  • 3 party Liberal/Conservative/NDP support for Ukraine and Zelensky
  • Hate Crime laws in Canada’s Criminal Code
  • Disregard for Canadian Constitution
  • Globalism
  • World Health Organization (WHO)
  • United Nations Organization (UNO)
  • Truckers Convoy to Ottawa in 2022
  • Trudeau’s Emergency Order
  • Residential School Disinformation
  • Anti-White, Anti-Christian agendas

It is practically self-evident (or ought to be) that given the past 60 years since the days of PM John G. Diefenbaker and his Bill of Rights Canada’s identity and sovereignty have suffered massive assaults by foreign organizations like the UNO, WEF, WHO and NATO. The Liberal Party, buttressed and blessed by the NDP, plus the Conservative Party under Harper and now Pierre Poilievre, have all sacrificed the nation’s sovereignty and dignity on the alter of Globalism in favour of an International agenda that precludes the rights and freedoms of the common people of Canada.

What Canadians now face is a dark future fraught with increasing turmoil, sickness, confusion, poverty, perversion and lack of principles with nowhere to turn to when it comes to the political platforms of all the major federal parties. That leaves “the people” caught between the proverbial rock and a hard place unless…unless…unless…they wake up to the realization that it is truly time to take a leap of faith and give the only other federal political party, the People’s Party of Canada, a chance to turn the ship of state around by electing the PPC’s Leader Maxime Bernier in your riding and then into the House of Commons where his voice, the voice of the People, will finally be heard.

All this said it therefore behooves the voters of Portage-Lisgar to give the people of Canada a chance by voting for the one and only candidate whose platform addresses all of the list of grievances listed above that the Canadian voters want to have resolved. The fate of our nation now lies in your hands. That one ray of hope is the People’s Party of Canada. Please do the right thing and vote for Max Bernier PPC on June 19th.

Sincerely,

Arthur Topham

Vote Purple for the People of Canada!

Arthur,

As you know, I am running as the PPC candidate in the upcoming Portage—Lisgar by-election.

I am going to do everything it takes to win. Pull out all the stops.

Because this is more than just a by-election. It’s about the future of our country.

This situation reminds me a lot of the Reform Party.

The Reform Party first entered Parliament in 1989 when they won a single seat in a by-election.

In the subsequent general election in 1993, 51 more MPs were sent to Ottawa. The following election saw them become the official opposition.

All the populist-conservative Reform Party needed was a foothold into Parliament, a single seat, and then the floodgates opened.

Sounds familiar?

The PPC will pick up the torch from the Reform Party, and it starts right here in Portage—Lisgar.

And we learned from the mistakes of the Reform Party.

We will never compromise our values. We won’t merge with a corrupt party. We will fight until we win and restore sanity in this country.

This by-election is a special opportunity. The start of something big.

This is how we start to take our country back from the elites and corrupt globalist politicians currently in charge.

To show the political establishment that we reject their perverted and authoritarian vision of the future.

To stand up for Canadian values and Canadian identity.

But I need your help to win this election and start turning Parliament Purple.

Pitch in $10 today to help start the political revolution in Canada.

Thank you,
-Max

MAX BERNIER & THE PPC NEED 342 COURAGEOUS CANADIAN PATRIOTS TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE

[EDITOR’S NOTE: The time has come for all those patriotic, freedom-loving Canadians who now realize there’s only ONE federal party to vote for if they wish to take back Canada from the NWO criminal cartel to get up off their complacent knees, stand up strong and free and put their collective shoulders to the wheel.

Common sense tells us that to attempt, once again, to replace the Liberals with the Conservatives or the NDP would be a most unfortunate and futile endeavor on the part of Canadians who truly want to see real and lasting changes come about for this beleaguered nation.

Speaking of ‘common sense’ reminds one of the writings of America’s Godfather, Thomas Paine, who, in his pamphlet Crisis, written prior to the war for Independence in an effort to unite the patriots, had the following to say:

“These are times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”

Were I twenty years younger I would welcome the opportunity to stand as a PPC candidate and be a part of Max Bernier’s People Party of Canada. I’ve ‘been there done that’ in the past and know just how challenging such an endeavor is. Nonetheless, I too will be doing everything I can to assist in this vital effort on other levels.

Are there 342 dedicated Canadians out there who will step up to the plate in a united effort to save Canada from the throes and woes that the NWO psychopaths have planned for us? Time will tell but the least that one might do would be to share this important message from Max Bernier with your friends and neighbours in order to get the word out.]

Arthur,

I need 342 courageous Canadian patriots to step up.

I am working on building my team for the next election.

Selecting candidates for every riding in the country. I need courageous leaders willing to stand by my side and spread our message in their communities so we can succeed in the next election and start getting Canada back on track.

I am often asked, “How did things get this bad?”

It’s because over the last 50 or so years, leftists have worked diligently to take over every aspect of our society.

Not just municipal, provincial, and federal governments. They’ve taken over schools, universities, and school boards. Charities, churches, and courts. Cultural institutions like television networks and media companies. Not to mention bureaucracies at every level.

Once they take on these positions, these leftists are unafraid to push their political philosophy through their work.

The result has been complete dominance of the leftist worldview, not only in government but through our culture as well. People hardly understand what it means to be conservative anymore.

This cultural dominance of the left acts as a backstop politically. If so-called “Conservatives” are lucky enough to get elected, they’ve typically watered down their beliefs to the point where they’re hardly different from the left!

This explains the corruption of the fake Conservative Party here in Canada. They have submitted to the fact that the left dominates society and instead of working to change that, they work within the left’s framing.

So you’re probably wondering, “What’s the solution?”

I’m reminded of a quote generally attributed to Sir Edmund Burke.

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

The fatal flaw of small-c conservatives like you and me is we’re individualist by nature, and we mostly care about our immediate communities.

Typically we want to be left alone so we can raise our families, work our jobs, and get involved in charities, religious or community groups that we care about.

But this has left a vacuum in the larger society that the left has taken full advantage of.

So we need good men and women to start getting involved. To reclaim our governments, schools, and cultural institutions.

That’s why I started the PPC. I knew from working inside the CPC that it was a lost cause, and true conservatives needed a new party to start taking back Canadian society from misguided leftists.

For the last month and a half I have been working on building our team of PPC candidates to represent the Party in the next election.

We’ve received interest from some incredible applicants so far, and I am confident that our next slate of candidates will be our best ever!

That being said, there are still more than 100 ridings we have not received applications for.

If you think you’d make a great PPC Candidate, submit an application today!

But Arthur, I won’t lie to you, being a PPC Candidate isn’t easy. We’re the underdogs and the deck is stacked against us.

The left is terrified of having to deal with a true conservative opposition with a distinct vision for this country. They prefer Pierre Poilievre and his weak, unprincipled CPC.

They’ll weaponize their institutional power against you—against us. The political establishment, the corporate media, and professional activists, will work in tandem to try and cancel you.

Being a PPC candidate isn’t easy, but it is empowering.

To finally take off the shackles of the UniParty and to fight for what you truly believe in. To advocate for ideas that will make this country a better place.

It’s worth the adversity. We can’t run from this fight, it will only make matters worse.

We must take this battle head on! For the sake of our children and grandchildren!

Apply today to join the fight for Canada’s future: www.peoplespartyofcanada.ca/apply

The application window closes on Sunday, May 7th.

Cheers,

-Max

Emergencies Act passes crucial House of Commons vote with NDP support

A motion affirming the Liberal government’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act passed a crucial House of Commons vote Monday, ensuring the expansive powers contained in the act remain in use by authorities thanks to parliamentary support from the New Democrats.

While the powers contained in the Emergency Act took effect immediately, the Liberal government needed to seek approval for its decision to invoke the act from the House of Commons within seven days. If that vote had failed, the emergency declaration would have been revoked.

Conservative MPs in the House booed and shouted “shame” when the first NDP MPs stood up to vote in favour of the motion. The Conservatives, however, applauded Bloc Québécois MPs when they stood to support the Conservatives.

The Liberals cheered loudly, drowning out heckles from the Conservatives when Green MP Elizabeth May voted in favour of the motion, which passed by a vote of 185 to 151.

Immediately after the vote passed, interim Conservative Leader Candice Bergen stood up and tried to enter a motion recalling the use of the Emergencies Act, but that motion was ruled out of order.

Earlier in the day Prime Minister Justin Trudeau defended his government’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act in response to protesters occupying some streets in downtown Ottawa, saying the decision to trigger the act was not one he and his government took lightly.

“It became clear that local and provincial authorities needed more tools to restore order and keep people safe,” he said.

Trudeau was asked if the deployment of the act is still necessary, now that police have cleared the area in front of Parliament Hill. He said his government wouldn’t keep the enhanced powers provided for under the act in place “a single day longer than necessary.”

The Liberal government was able to extend the Emergencies Act after receiving the “reluctant” support of the NDP. But anger over Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s decision to invoke it remains, with Conservatives and Bloc members calling it unnecessary. 4:27

“Even though things seem to be resolving very well in Ottawa, this state of emergency is not over,” he said.

Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino, who was with Trudeau at his news conference, said a number of people affiliated with the protests remain in the city.

“We have to remain vigilant, and not only in Ottawa but at our ports of entry,” he said, referring to a number of blockades at Canada-U.S. border crossings, including Coutts, Alta., and Windsor, Ont.

Mendicino says state of emergency won’t last ‘single moment’ longer than needed.

Minister of Public Safety Marco Mendicino says the state of emergency is not ready to be lifted, but all of government agrees it will not stay in place any longer than necessary. 2:30

Last week, the federal Liberals invoked the Emergencies Act for the first time since its passage in 1988 to deal with an anti-vaccine mandate protest that had been occupying downtown Ottawa for weeks. The measures set out in the act have been in effect ever since.

The New Democrats indicated early on that they would support the government’s use of the act but urged the Liberals to tread carefully, and said they are reserving the right to pull support at any time.

“We share the concern of many Canadians that the government may misuse the powers in the Emergencies Act, so I want to be very clear: We will be watching. We will withdraw our support if, at any point, we feel these powers are being misused,” NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh told the House at the start of the debate on Thursday.

Singh again promised his party’s “reluctant support” for triggering the Emergencies Act early Monday, saying New Democrats are prepared to trigger a second vote if they decide that the measures provided for under the act are no longer necessary.

“It’s not a blank cheque. We are prepared to pull our support as soon as … the act is no longer needed,” he said Monday.

The act states that it cannot be in force for more than 30 days from the date it was invoked, in this case Feb. 14.

Singh said New Democrats would not support its use for that long and called on the government to provide regular updates to MPs.

At least two Liberal MPs expressed doubts about the continued use of the act in the lead up to the vote.

Ontario MP Nathaniel Erskine-Smith said that despite reservations he would support the motion because the vote was a question of confidence — one that would trigger a general election if the government loses.

“I’m not convinced that the emergency measures should continue to exist beyond today,” he said during the House of Commons debate on Monday.

“The disagreement I’ve expressed here does not amount to non-confidence, and I have no interest in an election at this time.”

Quebec MP Joël Lightbound echoed Erskine-Smith, saying he would vote against the use of the act if it wasn’t a confidence vote.

Conservatives, Bloc oppose use of act

The at-times tense and personal debate over the Emergencies Act has pitted the Liberal government against the Conservatives and Bloc Québécois, a combination Liberal MP Kevin Lamoureux referred to as an “unholy alliance.”

Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre, who is seeking his party’s leadership, accused Prime Minister Trudeau of engineering the crisis for political gain.

“They have attempted to amplify and take advantage of every pain, every fear, every tragedy that has struck throughout this pandemic in order to divide one person against another and replace the people’s freedom with the government’s power,” he said Saturday.

The Conservatives argued that the protests did not rise to the level of an emergency and did not warrant the use of extraordinary powers.

Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet said the government didn’t need to invoke the Emergencies Act — that what it needed to do was to provide Ottawa police with additional officers to remove the protesters.

“The police did its job, and it’s a wonderful job which has been done here in the last few days, and by itself it is a proof that this law never had to be used in anyway,” he said outside of Parliament Hill on Monday.

RCMP says it’s not going after small donors

Some Conservative MPs have suggested that police could freeze the bank accounts of small donors who may have given money to the protest early on.

In a statement released Monday, the RCMP said it has provided banks only with the names of organizers and owners of trucks who had refused to leave the protest area.

“At no time did we provide a list of donors to financial institutions,” the statement said.

Police have succeeded in dislodging protesters from their main encampment near Parliament Hill and have established a secure perimeter with fencing. Authorities have towed the vehicles that have occupied much of the city’s downtown core for more than three weeks.

In defending their decision, Liberals have pointed repeatedly to comments made by interim Ottawa police Chief Steve Bell on Friday. Bell said the Emergencies Act allowed police to set up barriers and secure an area in the city’s downtown.

The Senate must also vote on the act’s use but debate has not started yet in that chamber.
